Somewhere, beyond the confines of appearance and attitude, there’s another form of design, of innovation through geometry. Rame is fabric in liquid state.
Rame is versatility. Softened by fire, copper can be shaped into a thousand different forms, yet once cooled it becomes harder than stone. So, our women’s clothing line too is malleable, but has a very strong personality.
Rame is sound. Copper is the noisiest metal; it enthrals, transmits and dilates sound waves like a huge sounding board. We want it to allow our woman to amplify the tone of her personality.
Rame is electricity. Copper is highly conductive; it is a medium, a means, a vehicle. We want it to allow our woman to funnel all the energy, electricity and magnetism that a dazzling femininity can be charged with into her look.
Rame is feminine alchemy. It is the embodiment of femininity and elegance. In old texts on alchemy, the symbol of copper was Venus’ mirror, the immortal emblem of being a woman. A celebration therefore of Eros, of passionate confusion and Ethos, the vigorous personality of every woman.
With a sensitive blend of high fashion and craftsmanship, Andrea Gasperoni’s visionary approach to design is more than a simple trend - it is blood.
Andrea began to experiment when he was a small child in his family’s atelier: the texture of fabrics became a great passion that was never taken for granted and that led to him creating an eclectic total look in his collections, sometimes with personalised fabrics, in a play on personal juxtapositions and interpretation.
Craftsmanship and manual skills, along with the competent use of fabrics and forms, led him to create his first made-to-measure pieces in his family’s atelier.
